Sounds like falling
Ongoing project about the void left by memories. The spaces once lived in, now standing empty, the people we used to know now changed or gone. It’s about loss and its lingering emptiness, as life flows in intense and sometimes ordinary episodes, leaving an imprint as images and sounds slowly disappear, one day gone forever. The past leaves a long falling shadow and in this project I try to capture that which is essentially what photography is about, the art of fixing a shadow.
This work is being made using liquid emulsion on Fabriano Academia paper and has initially been developed at Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University, part of the artist residency AA2A (Artists Access to Art School) 2015/16.
